Was the Red Wing blowout of the Avalanche in game 4 the last game for Sakic. I for on think that it is time for Sakic to hand over the rains of the team to someone else. He did not contribute this year and they seemed to play better without him. I think the past couple of years he has not been up to the Sakic he needs to be to lift the Avs to another Cup.

I think that daylight saving time should be canceled. I would like to see the proof of how it saves money or energy cost. I know that it makes it so that we don’t have to turn lights on until later but because it stays lighter later constructions workers work later so I think the energy trade off equals out. Everyone please leave your thoughts

Everyone exspects Forsberg to come in and be the Forsberg of old yet since he has been gone he has had lots of foot and ankle problems. I welcome him back but do not exspect all the old Forsberg. I hope that he helps the team towards the playoffs.

Can you beleive that some people think that star players should not be hit while playing hockey. Aaron Downey complained about Ian Laperriere’s hit on Nicklas Lidstrom being an illegal hit but yet the NHL did not fine or suspend him. Maybe he needs to realize that hockey is a sport that is going to have some hits and people might get hurt. While this might bring back the rivalry between Detroit and Colorado I hope it does not end like Steve Moore’s hit on Markus Naslund.

Does anyone else think that it is stupid that we try to cater to everyone by saying Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas? One of the best things about this country is freedom of religon and if you can’t exsprees it they way you want without someone getting affended it is turning our country from a domacracy into a dictatorship. Everyone comes to this country for the freedoms that we have but those same people are the ones that complain about being affend for someone telling them Merry Christmas and saying in God we trust. If it affends you that much find somewhere else to live.
